Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 191. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 786.1 (LINN).
Generitype of Selago Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 168. 1929).
Current name: Selago corymbosa L. (Scrophulariaceae).
