Description

Erythronium dens-canis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 305. 1753.

"Habitat in Liguria, Allobrogibus, Augusta Taurinorum, Sibiria, Virginia." RCN: 2404.

Lectotype (Mathew in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 109: 459. 1992): Herb. Linn. No. 424.1 (LINN).

Generitype of Erythronium Linnaeus.

Current name: Erythronium dens-canis L. (Liliaceae).
