Description
Briza eragrostis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 70. 1753.

Lectotype (Clayton in Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Gramineae 2: 232. 1974): Herb. Burser I: 10 (UPS).
Current name: Eragrostis cilianensis (All.) Vignolo ex Janch. (Poaceae).
