Manisuris myurus Linnaeus, Mantissa Plantarum Altera: 300. 1771.

Lectotype (Clayton in Cafferty & al. in Taxon 49: 252. 2000): Herb. Linn. No. 1215.2 (LINN).
Generitype of Manisuris Linnaeus, nom. rej.
Current name: Manisuris myurus L. (Poaceae).
Note: Although Rottboellia L. f. (1782) is conserved against Manisuris L. (1771), recent treatments now recognise them as distinct genera.
