The article presents an analysis of the concept of valeological mindset, characterized by correlation of its types with neurotic traits and needs of the individual. It is shown a negative relationship of resource type of valeological mindset with neurotic traits and needs of the individual, the psychological content of the deficit, manipulative and supporting types valeological mindset through correlation with the neurotic needs and neurotic personality traits.
