Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Arabia (Murai & Amr 2011), Oman (Roche 2007), Saudi Arabia (Guichard 1988; Gadallah & Assery 2004a; Gadallah et al. 2013; Madl 2018), United Arab Emirates (Hamer 1986, 1988; Guichard 1988; Gillett & Gillett 2005; Howarth & Gillett 2008; Schmid-Egger 2011; Madl 2018), Yemen (Kohl 1906; Madl 2018).
Extralimital distribution: Afghanistan, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
