Description

Prionyx macula (Fabricius, 1804)

Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Kuwait (Bohart & Menke 1976; Guichard 1988; Roche 2007; Al-Houty

2011), Saudi Arabia (Fabricius 1804 as Pepsis macula; de Beaumont 1962 as Pepsis macula; Bohart & Menke

1976; Guichard 1988; Roche 2007; Gadallah et al. 2013). Extralimital distribution: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, North Africa.
