Ammophila holosericea

Description

[Ammophila holosericea (Fabricius, 1793)

[Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Yemen (Bingham 1898).

[Remarks: This record is certainly wrong; it is therefore not included in the counts. The identity of A. holosericea was clarified by Dollfuss (2013a) who designated a neotype from Morocco, and according to whom the species occurs only in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. This record probably refers to A. heydeni (see above).]
