Intercultural Dimensions in the Polish Educational Context

Description

The article represents an essay study on the results of observation, case studies and literature review held at the 12th Summer School at the Elena Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw, initiated and coordinated by the UNESCO Janusz Korczak Chair based on a UNESCO project. The research presented and discussed at the summer school, as well as the training activities were related to ensuring gender equality and children’s equality through liberal and conservative discourse, with social and linguistic implications. The specific references to good school practices in the current Polish context, but also to the problems facing current pedagogical research challenge the readers of the article to discover some problematic aspects and to expand their horizon and the perspectives of approach to the themes analyzed by the authors.
