Aulobia cardueli Skoracki, Hendricks and Spicer, 2010

Aulobia cardueli Skoracki et al., 2010a: 36, figs. 14–23. Types deposited in AMU and USNM, examined. Type host: Spinus psaltria (Say) (Passeriformes: Fringillidae). Type locality: USA (Texas).
Hosts and distribution. Acanthis flammea (Linnaeus) (Fringillidae) from Poland and Slovakia (Skoracki 2011), Carduelis carduelis (Linnaeus) (Fringillidae) from Poland (Skoracki 2011) and Kazakhstan (Skoracki & Bochkov 2010), C. flavirostris (Linnaeus) from Poland, Serinus citrinella (Pallas) (Fringillidae) from Poland (Skoracki 2011), Spinus psaltria (Say) (Fringillidae) from USA (Texas) (Skoracki et al. 2010a), and S. spinus (Linnaeus) from Russia (Skoracki 2011).
