Erythmelus miridiphagus Dozier 1937: 133 –134. Type locality: Hormigueros, Puerto Rico (USA). Erythmelus (Erythmelus) flavovarius (Walker): Triapitsyn et al. 2007: 48 –49 (misidentification of a female specimen from Chichén Itzá, Yucatán, Mexico).
