Creators

Description

n the framework of REEEM project, three innovation readiness level reports will be developed on three different energy technology groups. The first report, presented in this document, is dedicated to energy storage technologies. Five storage technologies are selected and studied in this report, namely Li-ion, flow batteries, supercapacitors, CAES, and hydrogen. The technologies are from different energy storage categories to provide a wider picture on the existing technologies in the market.

This report will be complemented with the REEEM Technology and Innovation roadmap on energy storage applications (to be published on 31st July 2017), and a report reviewing techno-economic parameters of storage technologies (to be published on 28th February 2018).
