Description

Eight empirical phylogenetic datasetes analysed in Rota et al. study "A simple method for data partitioning based on relative evolutionary rates". All eight datasets are given in the phylip format with the alignment followed by partitions defined to correspond to the best partitioning strategy as described in the study. These are the datasets: Arctina, Calisto, Coenonymphina, Choreutidae, Geometridae, Morpho, Noctuidae, and Pieridae. The datasets have been modified from their published versions to reduce the amount of missing data. The details are in the paper.
