Thermal Insulation of an Ultra-High Temperature Thermal Energy Store for Concentrated Solar Power

This poster presents simulation results of a multi-layer thermal insulation concept for an ultra-high temperature thermal energy store. Temperature gradients and heat losses for different thermal insulations and for a thermal energy store surface temperature of 2 000 °C were evaluated.
