Etymology. The species is named for the two pairs of convergent processes on the pygofer side.

Remarks. According to the characteristics of the pygofer, this species is similar to F. quadrispinosus, but can be distinguished by the following three points: 1) pygofer with base wide and end narrow, and end of ventral process bent to base; 2) aedeagal shaft with only small distal processes; 3) base of aedeagal shaft enlarged. This species is also similar to F. luteolus, but can be differentiated from the latter by the aedeagus with a pair of small distal processes.
