Description

Walchia micropelta (Traub and Evans, 1957)

Distribution and hosts. This species was described from Thailand (Traub & Evans 1957) and later was recorded in China (Wen 1984a), Vietnam (Schluger et al. 1960; Antonovskaia et al. 2017), and Cambodia (this study); it was found on 19 rodent species and one treeshrew (Stekolnikov 2021).

Material examined. Three larvae (ZIN 14321, 14323, 14327) ex M. surifer C0746, CAMBODIA, Mondulkiri Province, Keo Seima, 27 November 2009; one larva (ZIN 14308) ex M. surifer C0761, same locality, 28 November 2009.
