Description

This study reflects on non-formal education in light of the limitations of traditional schools. Initially, we contextualize the importance of the topic. The general objective is to analyze the need to integrate educational approaches, highlighting the flexibility and adaptability of non-formal education. The research adopts the bibliographic review methodology, focusing on fundamental publications on the topic and searching on Google Scholar for articles from 2021 up to 2023, focusing on publications that discuss the impact of non-formal education on the construction of critical citizenship. The aim is to analyze the need to integrate educational approaches, exploring the flexibility and adaptability of non-formal education. The results of this research highlight the importance of collaborative learning, social interaction and collective construction of knowledge in the context of non-formal education. We conclude that rethinking the educational model is crucial, recognizing the growing relevance of Education in Non-Formal Spaces as a teaching modality in contemporary society.
