Gonatopus camelinus Kieffer, 1904: 361. Type locality: Italy, Grosseto province Giglio Island (♀ holotype, MCSNG).

Description (♀). Apterous (Figs 7 A–7B), body length 2.7–4.4 mm. Color. Body testaceous-reddish, except black petiole and part of metasoma; antenna brown, except yellow scape and pedicel; occasionally vertex, pronotum, metanotum and metapectal-propodeal complex reddish-dark or brown or partly black; occasionally mesoscutum totally black or brown; occasionally (in ortholabis form) pronotum; mesoscutellum and metapectal-propodeal complex black, with mesoscutum partly or totally yellow or brown-reddish; metasoma brown-reddish. Head (Figs 6 A–6C, 7A–7B). Antenna clavate, with scape slightly larger than last flagellaromere; head excavated, shiny, unsetose, weakly granulate and rugose; POL = 2.5, OL = 3.0, OOL = 6; occipital carina incomplete; palpal formula 3/2 or 4/2. Mesosoma (Figs 1B, 6 D–6F). Pronotum crossed by strong and wide transverse furrow, shiny, unsetose, slightly granulate; mesoscutum dull, granulate; metanotum very short, granulate, with rounded sides, not hollow behind mesoscutellum; mesopleuron transversely striated; metapectal-propodeal complex shiny, unsculptured, except for transversal striate on first abdominal tergum and metapleuron; disc metapectal-propodeal complex with or without track median longitudinal furrow; meso-metapleural suture obsolete, occasionally slightly distinct; occasionally clearly distinct, if metanotum and mesopleuron are smooth; protarsomeres in following proportions: 14:2:4:11:17; enlarged claw with one large subapical tooth and one row of 3–6 lamellae; protarsomere 5 with two rows of 14–29 lamellae; distal apex with approximately 5–9 lamellae; tibial spurs 1/0/1. Metasoma (Figs 6 G–6H). Shiny, smooth and with sparse setae, with coriaceous surface except tergite I; ovipositor short, with moderately dense apical setae.

Description. (♂). Fully winged, length 2.0– 2.6 mm. Color. Head black, except testaceous mandible; antenna brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except partly brown coxae and clubs femora. Head. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 4:5:11:8:8:8:8:8:7:10; antennomere 3 more than four times as long as wide; head shiny, granulate; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 4; vertex without strong prominent carina surrounding two ovoidal smooth areas situated between lateral ocelli and eyes; palpal formula 3/2 or 4/2. Mesosoma. Mesoscutum shiny, granulate; mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured; metapectal-propodeal complex dull, slightly reticulate rugose, mostly granulate; forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part (Rs) of 2r-rs&Rs vein (= stigmal vein) longer than proximal part (2r-rs) (17:10); tibial spurs 1/1/2. Genitalia (Fig. 20B). Dorsal process of paramere long and with track serrate distal margin.

Material examined. 6 ♀ 1 ♂: 2 ♀ (MOLC), IRAN, Sistan-o Baluchestan province, Zabol-Nimrooz (31°05ʹ02ʺ N, 61°26ʹ07ʺ E, 461m), 06. VI.2016, Nim-229, swept on mix vegetations, Leg.: H. A. Derafshan; 4 ♀ (1 ♀ in MOLC, 3 ♀ in DPPZ), same locality label, 05. VI.2016, Nim-228, Leg.: H. A. Derafshan; 1 ♂ (DEIAU), IRAN, Fars province, Khonj (27°53ʹ31ʺN, 53°26ʹ42ʺE, 668m), 06.IV.2013, Leg.: M. Atbaei.

Distribution (Fig. 21B). Eastern (Olmi & Xu 2015) and Western Palaearctic (Olmi 1984).
