Type locality: Ceylon [Sri Lanka]
Distribution. Indian records: Assam (Gupta 1994). Global records: Ceylon (Hampson 1893), Australia (Shaffer et al. 1996), China, Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Australia (Wang & Speidel 2000).
