Type locality: Indonesia, Sumatra, Soengei Aboe
= Pagyda aurantialis Hampson, 1893: 48, 169, pl. 173 fig. 17
Type locality: Ceylon [Sri Lanka], Pundaloya
Distribution. Indian records: Sikkim, Khasi (Meghalaya), Naga Hills (Nagaland) (Gupta 1994), India (Qi & Li 2019), Kerala (Das et al. 2020a). Global records: Ceylon, Sumatra, Pulo Laut (Hampson 1896b), Borneo, New Guinea, Pulo Laut, Sumatra, Taiwan, Vietnam (Tong-King) (Bhattacharya 2000), China (Hainan, Taiwan, Yunnan), Australia, Burma, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka (Qi & Li 2019).
