Type locality: Central India

Distribution. Indian records: Ganjam (Hampson 1896b), Calcutta (Sevastopulo 1938), India (Klima 1937). Global records: Ceylon (Hampson 1896b, Klima 1937).

Genus Banepa Moore in Hewitson & Moore, 1888: 204

Type species: Banepa atkinsonii Moore, 1888, by monotypy
