Typhochrestus digitatus

Description

Typhochrestus digitatus (O.P.- Cambridge, 1872)

Description: Wiehle (1960: 330, figs 601–610), Roberts (1987: 92, figs 41e, 42a), Bosmans & Abrous (1990: 22, figs 13–19).

Previous records: Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Miranda do Douro, Picote (Bosmans 2008).

New records: Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Freixo de Espada à Cinta, Quinta de Zom, 3 females, 7.II.2001 (CPC); Miranda do Douro, Picote, 1 male, 29.XI.2001; Miranda do Douro, Vila Chã da Braciosa; 1 female, 8.II.2001, 1 male, 22.II.2001 (CPC); Mogadouro, Bruçó, 1 female, 7.III.2001 (CPC).

Distribution: Palearctic.

Habitat type: Frequent in montane grasslands and forests (Bosmans, 2008).

Phenology: Adults were found from November to February.
