Description

Genus Majeorona Dist. Key to Species

Tegmina and wings hyaline, immaculate..... truncata, Godg.

Tegmina and wings spotted with brown.

Transverse veins at bases of second and third apical cells only infuscate........................ aper, Walk.

Transverse veins of all apical cells infuscate.

Pronotum and mesonotum blood—red with black marks, excavation on hind border of the latter deep, narrow, outer angles ending in a tooth; abdomen black; tegmina with apical borders, tips of longitudinal veins, and all transverse veins at bases of apical cells, broadly infuscate............ ...................................................... ethelae, Godg.

Pronotum, mesonotum, and most of abdominal segments testaceous; excavation on hind border of mesonotum board, shallow; outer angles barely evident; tegmina with posterior borders, and tips of longitudinal veins strongly infuscate, transverse veins at bases of second and third apical cells lightly infuscate........... ecuatoriana, Godg.
