Description
Terebra hungarica macropunctata Bohn-Havas, 1973
= Tiarapirenella [Batillariidae]
* Terebra hungarica macropunctata n. ssp. — Bohn-Havas 1973: 1129, pl. 8, figs 19–20, pl. 10, figs 7–9.
Discussion. Established by Bohn-Havas (1973) as subspecies of Terebra hungarica Halaváts, 1884 based on the larger blotches compared to ‘normal’ specimens. These specimens represent a Tiarapirenella species.
Distribution in Central Paratethys. Pannonian Basin: Pécsszabolcs, Várpalota (Hungary) (Bohn-Havas 1973).
