Using M-PolKA to supporting QUIC Data Transmission through Dynamic Multicast Management
Description
As internet users progressively increase, nodes and connections' latency, speed, and mobility have become significant concerns. In this dynamic scenario, Heterogeneous Networks predominate, in which communications between devices of different technologies, manufacturers, capacities, and structures occur. Most communications on these networks work through the TCP protocol, which wastes much of the resources available in networks and communications. Using some resources offered by M-PolKA, this research aims to investigate methods of optimization of dynamic multicast connections in heterogeneous environments to provide an alternative to the current demands of computer networks, mitigate the current limitations existing in the current TCP architecture and explore the use of natively multipath protocols, such as the QUIC protocol.
