본 연구의 목적은 초등 도덕과 교과용 도서의 검정제 전환에 대한 예비 교사의 인식을 조사하는 데 있다. 연구 방법은 설문지법이며, 연구 대상은 G교육대학교에 재학 중인 205명의 예비 교사로 선정하였다. 설문 조사에서는 초등 도덕과 교과용 도서의 검정제 전환에 대한 인식 일반, 찬반 여부, 기대 효과에 대한 데이터를 수집하였다. 자료의 통계 처리는 EXCEL 2013 및 SPSS 26 프로그램을 사용하였고, 빈도 분석 및 신뢰도 검증(Chronbach 알파)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 예비 교사들은 교과용 도서 발행 체제에 대한 이해도가 다소 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 특히, 초등 도덕과 교과용 도서의 검정제 전환에 대해서는 찬반 의견이 고르게 나타났다. 예비 교사는 검정제 전환이 학습 주제에 대한 다양한 관점을 반영할 수 있다는 점에서는 찬성하나, 집필자의 주관이나 정치적 신념이 반영될 가능성을 우려하여 반대하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과, 초등 도덕과 교과용 도서의 검정제 전환이 교육 효과를 갖기 위해서는 교사 양성 과정에서 예비 교사에게 교과서 발행 체제에 대한 충분한 이해를 제공하고, 가치·규범을 다루는 도덕 교과의 성격과 내용을 고려하여 우수한 교과용 도서를 선정할 수 있는 안목과 역량을 신장시킬 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the pre-service teachers’ perceptions of the conversion of elementary moral textbooks into an authorizing system. In order to achieve this research objective, pre-service teachers’ perceptions were investigated using questionnaire methods. The research subjects were selected as 205 pre-service teachers. The analysis confirmed that the pre-service teachers had a rather low understanding of the textbook publishing system. In particular, there were even pros and cons on the change in the approval system for elementary school textbooks for moral education. As for the transition to an authorizing system, pre-service teachers were found to be in favor of it in that it could reflect various perspectives on l earning topics, or opposed it out of concern about the possibility that the author’s supervision or political beliefs might be reflected. According to the study, it was necessary to promote a sufficient understanding of the textbook publishing system in the course of teacher training, and to enhance the insight and ability to select excellent textbooks in consideration of the nature and purpose of the moral teaching department dealing with values and norms.
