The first news item dealt with the problem of unpredictable weather in European cities believed to be caused by climate change, which, of course, is not just a European problem but a global one. The second news item similarly reported on changes in weather patterns and how people in India responded to the unpredictable weather with technology. The third item described a novel coronavirus variant that was emerging and quickly spreading in the United States as the pandemic continued to wreak havoc around the world.
