ABSTRACT
This chapter reveals how the technological dominance of US firms has been challenged by emergence of Chinese technology giants. It investigates how, within a short span of time, Chinese firms have grown so large and disrupted the global technology sector. The chapter discusses Chinese discriminatory treatment given to its domestic firms against foreign-owned firms. This study also explains the growing concerns about forged technology, violation of patents, and intellectual property rights by Chinese tech giants.
