ABSTRACT

Collaborative relations between parents and educators in preschool institutions are considered very important for the overall development of children. Parents discussed with each other the ways of successfully completing the project, which resulted in a growing number of families participating in the climbing tours. It is important to mention that each mountaineering tour was planned and successfully completed in cooperation with the mountaineering society Bundek. The children divided up the jobs among themselves, from sellers, cashiers, and animators, who additionally explained the purpose of the sale to the parents. The kindergarten teachers were glad to see their entrepreneurship and how they organised it all and shared in the joy for the positive results of their undertaking. All parents wanted their children to develop their skills and knowledge to the fullest, with some emphasis on the importance of creating positive attitudes toward learning and on fostering children’s aptitudes and strengths.
