ABSTRACT
This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of the book. The book introduces educators to the Three Domains of Peak Learning Experience, and provides an overview of the framework and all of its essential components, including learning outcomes, essential questions, strategies, dispositions and barriers. It deals with an overview of the domain followed by an in-depth look at the several strategies, and activities, reflection questions and application to practice tools. The book offers individuals and groups a method, strategies and tools to cultivate these practices and teach them to others. Frameworks, tools and techniques to help professional learning communities access, process and sift information, and draw out what is most essential is another important aspect of learning design. Social justice is about understanding how certain dynamics in our relationships and society can make us feel powerless, weak, vulnerable, afraid, anxious, stressed and unfocused.
