Use of HCFC-22 in a Vehicular Air Conditioning System

Abstract
This paper describes modifications made to the air conditioning system of a 1988 subcompact automobile to convert it from CFC-12 to HCFC-22. Cooling of the interior was superior with the modified system compared to the original system, but with a head pressure penalty.
