Electrical and Structural Analysis of ATO/PP Nanocomposites

Article Preview

Abstract:

The ATO/PP nanocomposites were prepared by solution-mixing method assisted by high-energy sonication and melt-mixing method. Electrical properties of the nanocomposites were characterized by means of surface resistivity measurements and the phase structures were investigated via SEM. The crystallization characteristics of pure PP and ATO/PP nanocomposites were investigated by WAXD and POM. Comparing with the two methods, solution method will make ATO well dispersed in the PP matrix and the obtained materials will have better electrical property. The ATO enhanced the nucleation of polypropylene crystallization and made the crystal smaller and even.
