Abstract：
South Male Atoll is located from 3。48＇37〃N to 4。7＇35〃N, 73。21＇19〃E to 73。31＇43〃E in mid-east of Maldives. It is one of Atolls in the Kaafu administrative Atoll, The neighbors of the South Male Atoll are the North Male Atoll in north, the Felidhu Atoll in south and the North Ari Atoll in west. 58 islands are included in the South Male Atoll, including Oligandufinolhu，Mahaanaelhihuraa，Ehrruhhaa，Olhuveli，Bodufinolhu，Fihaalhohi，Lhosfushi，Guraidhoo，Rahnaalhi，Kandoomaafushi，Villingiliyau，Makunufushi，Hiyaadhoo，Maafushi，Boduhuraa，Dhigufinolhu，Gulheegaathuhuraa，Gulhi，Maniyalushi，Enhoodhoo，Bolifushi and Enboodhoofinolhu Islands. The biggest one among them is the Maafushi Island with the area of 0.41km2. The total area of the islands in the South Male Atoll is 2.56km2, with the coastline of 57.55km. The dataset was developed based on integration among the Google Earth images and related maps and records. The data is archived in .kmz and .shp data format with the compressed data size of 241KB.
