Amalee: Indonesian Journal of Community Research and Engagement is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on university-community engagement programs, applied science in the community to advance theories, as well as research and practices related to all forms of outreach and engagement.

In this issue (Vol 3 No 1 - April 2022), published articles written by academics from Indonesia and the Philippines discussed topics ranging from community development both in rural and urban areas: system development and MSMEs empowerment to develop entrepreneurial, financial resiliency and sustain local tourism; capacity building among children, students, youths, and religious people; and national health service advocacy and policy against the Covid-19 pandemic, environmental sustainability issue, and other purposes.
