The work presents materials on development at PWI of compact powerful high-frequency generators of high-voltage pulses, which can act as prototypes of equipment for realization of the process of irreversible electroporation – a promising method to combat malignant tumors. The peculiarities of this process and the state of the world market of equipment for its realization are briefl y given. Described are the main design features and basic technical characteristics of pilot samples of the respective apparatuses of PWI design. 12 Ref., 11 Fig.
Keywords: high-frequency high-voltage pulse generators, electrosurgery, irreversible electroporation, apparatuses for fi ghting malignant tumors
