대학생이 지각한 부모양육태도와SNS 중독 경향성의 관계에서 역기능적 신념과 소외에 대한 두려움(FoMO)의 매개효과

본 연구는 부모양육태도가 SNS 중독 경향성에 미치는 영향을 역기능적 신념과 소외에 대한 두려움(Fear of missing out: FoMO)이 순차적으로 매개하는 구조모형을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 SNS를 사용하는 대학생을 대상으로 부모양육태도 지각검사, 역기능적 신념 척도, 소외에 대한 두려움(FoMO) 척도, 그리고 SNS 중독 경향성 척도를 실시하였으며, 수집된 316명의 자료를 구조방정식 모델을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 부모양육태도와 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계를 역기능적 신념과 소외에 대한 두려움이 순차매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 부모양육태도와 소외에 대한 두려움 간의 관계를 역기능적 신념이 완전매개하였고, 역기능적 신념과 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계를 소외에 대한 두려움이 완전매개하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 부모양육태도, 역기능적 신념, 소외에 대한 두려움 그리고 SNS 중독 경향성의 경로를 이해하고 인지행동치료를 통해 역기능적 신념을 수정하여 소외에 대한 두려움, SNS 중독 경향성까지 변화시킬 수 있는 방법에 관해 논의하였다.

This study aimed to explore the structural model in which dysfunctional beliefs and fear of missing out(FoMO) sequentially mediate the effect of perceived parenting attitudes on SNS addiction tendency. Data were collected from college students(N=316) who consented to complete parenting attitude scale, dysfunctional beliefs scale. FoMO scale, and SNS addiction tendency scale via online. Data were analyzed a structural equation model. The findings of this study indicated that dysfunctional beliefs and FoMO sequentially mediated the relationship between perceived parenting attitude and SNS addiction tendency. In addition, dysfunctional beliefs completely mediated the relationship between perceived parenting attitude and FoMO, and FoMO completely mediated the relationship between dysfunctional beliefs and SNS addiction tendency. The findings provide implications for understanding the pathways of perceived parenting attitudes, dysfunctional beliefs, FoMOs, and SNS addiction tendency and offer an insight into effective cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on modifying dysfunctional beliefs for changing FoMO and SNS addiction tendency.
