Abstract

Tamil literature was an ancient one among the world literature. Number of scholars dedicated their contributions to that. Among them were the commentators and they have a pioneer place in it. Parimelazhagar was the most famous critic who enhance the literature. The world famous Thirukkural was well understood with the help of his commentary. He used his broad mind and various techniques in it. He is considered the one among the literation who nourished Tamil literature.
