Currently we know only six procuratores provinciae Cypri. All of them are attested only by epigraphic sources.

All the possible mistakes and shortcomings are of course my fault . 2 . The only list of the procurators of Cyprus , I am aware of , is the one arranged by Mitford 1980 , p . 1307 . It consists of only four entries , two of them contain mistakes . The most serious error refers to T . Flavius Glaukos and is discussed here . The other was committed in the entry on T . Statilius Apollinarius , who was classified as a procurator of Pisidia , Cilicia , Pamphylia and Cyprus (according to MAMA VI , no . 97 ), while L . Robert pointed out that he was actually a procurator of Lycia , Pamphylia , Cyprus and perhaps of some other provinces (Robert 1946 , p . 20-21 , 27 ). At least two further entries should be added to the Mitford ’ s list : a ) Scribonianus – the earliest known procurator of Cyprus , attested during Trajan ’ s reign by Taeuber 2008 , p . 252 , no . I 89 = BE (2009 ),
