A corrigendum on
Changes in Eukaryotic and Bacterial Communities along a 120 m Transect Associated with a Shallow Marine Hydrothermal Vent

There is an error in the Author contributions statement. The first sentence (JG was the PI of the grant that supported this project.) should be deleted.

The second sentence should read: JG participated in the planning, field work, analysis, and writing of the manuscript.

There is an error in the Acknowledgements statement. The final sentence of the Acknowledgements should read:

This work was supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation under BE/CBC grant CHE-0221834 to T. Pichler and by internal grants from the University of South Florida.

The authors apologize for these errors and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way.
