Abstract

A new physical mechanism for sound scattering in a liquid nanodispersed medium is considered, which is based on spatial modulation of the equilibrium density of dielectric impurity particles in a suspension in the field of a standing electromagnetic wave. Occurrence of a reflected wave is governed by the spatial inhomogeneity of the impurity subsystem caused by the action the external electromagnetic field.
