Abstract

This paper presents the physicochemical properties of aluminosilicates: specific surface area, total volume and average pore size, average particle size, and maximum dye sorption. The tribotechnical properties of thin-film coatings obtained as a result of tribodification of 40X steel by layered aluminosilicates, as well as composites clad on the basis of vermiculite and kaolinite, clad with polyphenylsiloxane, are determined. Comparative tribotechnical tests established that layered aluminosilicates make it possible to obtain a thin-film coating on steel providing high tribotechnical characteristics of the “shaft + coating–bearing liner” interface. The influence of the physicochemical properties of aluminosilicates on the tribotechnical characteristics of the “shaft + coating–bearing liner” conjugation is established.
