Abstract
Protective properties of a material containing ferroboron and polyethylene are experimentally studied. The protection factors in the case of the interaction with fast neutron and gamma-ray fluxes emitted by a water phantom exposed to a proton beam with energies of 50, 100, and 130 MeV are determined.
