Abstract
A new method of determining the parameters of sheet straightening takes account of the flexure of the working rollers and its influence the waviness. The method is based on the combined use of an engineering model of sheet straightening and regression equations obtained by finite-element modeling of the correction of waviness. Experiments confirm the applicability of the method in automatic control systems for sheet-straightening machines.
