Forming a helical chip-channel surface in a spiral drill by specifying two generative straight lines

Abstract

A data-preparation algorithm has been developed for the graph-analytic calculation of the tooth profile in a disk mill used to produce the chip channel in a drill, when the helical surface of the channel is specified by two generative straight lines.
