Abstract
This work presents a method for determining the parameters of the equivalent-circuit and the main characteristics of a squirrel-cage induction motor (SCIM) based on the analysis of oscillograms of current and voltage by the results of measurements in triggering and idle modes and additional speed measurements in the steady-state idle mode. To implement the technique, available industrial means for measuring and recording electrical signals and speed are used. The results are tested on the example of a low-power asynchronous motor.
