Assessing the utility of coal’s elementary composition in predicting the yield of coking products

Abstract

Elementary analysis of the organic mass of coal does not provide sufficient information to predict the yield of coking products, since it does not reflect the changes in the atomic bonds between the carbon, hydrogen, and other elements.
