Desulfurization in annealing Bakal siderite ore

Abstract

Desulfurization in the annealing of Bakal siderite ore is considered. The influence of various factors is investigated. Industrial tests confirm laboratory data and permit the determination of optimal heat-treatment parameters in preparing the ore for blast-furnace smelting.
