Symbol timing synchronization with the usage of Barker sequences in communication systems utilizing stochastic signals

Abstract

This work proposes a new method of symbol timing synchronization of communication systems that uses a stochastic carrier. By means of a computer simulation experiment, there was explored the effectiveness of the proposed method. The advantages and disadvantages were shown.
