Abstract—The results of geological structural analysis and the identification of distribution patterns, spatial orientation, and age relationships of gold-bearing quartz–sulfide veinlets within quartz stockworks in the central part of the Drazhnoe deposit (Taryn goldfield) are presented. The results of direct observations of surface outcrops and oriented core samples from exploratory boreholes were used as input data. Based on the results of analysis, quartz vein and veinlet systems characterized by large thicknesses along with high gold content were identified. The orientation of tectonic stress axes at the syn-ore phase, during which gold-bearing quartz stockworks were emplaced, has been reconstructed.
