Abstract

This article is devoted to the currently important problem of increasing of the thickness of electrodeposited coatings with higher contact continuity. The results of experiments on the formation of thick coatings of increased continuity on a steel surface using electrodes of Kh20N80 alloy, ShKh15 steel, and BrKMts3-1 bronze are given. The basis of the treatment is the alternation of the deposition and melting operations performed by electrospark machining (ESM).
